Ora Life

ODescription: every Friday we work on our garments for production. Our main idea is ora life but some of the other thing we got to do are up cycling and wearable art.Up Cycling is were you give something old and used a new life.   We hade three different themes to chose from they were heros and villains, elements and out of Africa. I am in heros and villains. I chose hero and villains because straight away I had an idea. Here is what I hope my garment will look like.

So far I have made my fabric smock and my paper mashay mask. This afternoon I am going to paint my mask white and start making feathers

1) The materials that I used to create my garment were: felt fabric, old pillow case, paper mashay and paper cone.

2) The most challenging thing about production for me was: getting my garment done on time because  the head peace.

3) One way I demonstrated a growth mindset during production was: when my body peace failed I kept on going and adopted a new strategy.

4) Something I am really proud of about production was: my head peace because it came out exactly how I wanted it to.

5) Our school vision is to create agency, creativity and excellence. I showed this by: bending my wing to make myself look like an old veteran. Creativity.

Feedback/feedforward: next time you could make your wings more clear that there wings. I like how you add lots of colour.

Evaluation: I like my garment because i like a book about a old hero I represented this by making my bird old like him.

  1. Loki, you were inspired from the start, made a plan and have worked hard to achieve your vision. I love that when things were tough you came up with a new strategy and didn't give up! It has been fantastic to see the creativity of Poutama and I can't wait to see you all on stage on Monday - you all look AMAZING!
