Swimming SMART Goals

 Description:
The last few weeks we have been swimming in the school pool. We are practicing swimming for swimming sports. Swimming sport's is a big school swimming event.

Big idea:
We have been setting SMART goal's about swimming.

My goal's are:
To get 1st in breastroke, backstroke and freestyle
Our pool
Start like a arrow because I start like a worm.
Keep my butt still because I wiggle it while I swim and go of coarse.

13/3/2015

Evaluation:
The only goal I didn't achieve is the one at swimming sports because I came 2nd in breaststroke.
Our pool
I know I've achived my goal because now I start as straight as a arrow
I know I'v also achived this goal because now I go straight rather than veer off course.

Stuck video

Description:
We watched a video called stuck on the escalator it was a video with two people stuck on the escalator and not showing ability to act. We made our own videos about not showing ability to act.

Criteria: (Content)
  1. Video - 30 seconds long, time is limited.
  2. Scenario - Show someone being stuck and not using the ability to act.
  3. Clear Message - Short sharp clip. Can the watcher get the point of your video?
  4. Unique - Coming up with something funny that gets a laugh from others.
  5. Time Passing - Do you need to show time passing in your clip to emphasise your message.

Criteria: (Movie)
  1. Light - Make sure the sun isn’t creating a hard to see clip.
  2. Voice Volume - Needs to be louder than other background volume eg Noise, Kids.
  3. Frame - What’s in the frame to make your message obvious.
  4. Steady Hands - Make sure the camera is still.
Individual Clips - Don’t do one continuous shot of 30 seconds. Make a range of short clips and join together

Evaluation: I think my movie has a very steady camera and it has a clear message but connor could have faced me when I was speaking.

Feedback/feedforward:
I like how you showed time passing and I also like how you dressed up like a teacher and your impression.
I think connor could of faced you when he was speaking.

Writing

My Goal is to: Use a variety of appropriate planning tools to develop ideas.

Ryan Cheese is a smart, strong, cool and only 9. One day his mum Rebecca Cheese and his step dad Bruce Cheese were having a party. When Ryan went home his mum was. Dead. Dad you killed mum cried Ryan and Josie.
3 days later. Ryan woke up. He felt drowsy.

Ok let me think of an excuse. Ok. I've thought of an excuse. So what happened was trolls raided my house. They looked as gross as Eli oderens feet. They said surrender everything so I smasssssssssshhhhhh the window then I jump out to be greeted by lions.

. Dry suits and wet suits also keep you warm because dry suits don't let any water in. Trapping a thin layer of air so your body heats the air up so that means you could go diving in Antarctica. You couldn't go diving in Antarctica in a wet suit because wet suits let water in and your body warms up the water.
